Vernon E. Jordan Jr. Residence Hall
Vernon E. Jordan Jr. Residence Hall at DePauw University was designed to accommodate 150 students and comply with the International Green Construction Code using ASHRAE 189.1, the Standard for the Design of High-Performance Green Buildings. KBSO Consulting provided comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services, integrating energy-efficient systems throughout the building. Key features include a chilled beam HVAC system, solar-assisted water heating, and LED lighting with advanced daylighting controls. System-level metering enables ongoing performance monitoring. KBSO is proud to have contributed to this sustainable, high-performance residence hall, reflecting DePauw’s commitment to student well-being and environmental stewardship.
