KBSO Consulting provided comprehensive MEPT design services for the new Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services (IEMS) headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. The two-story facility includes administrative offices, medical services, and training spaces, while an adjacent single-story building supports fleet and logistics operations. The design prioritizes connectivity and safety with advanced telecommunications infrastructure, integrated security systems, and reliable emergency communication. Energy efficiency is achieved through high-performance HVAC systems, LED lighting with smart controls, and renewable energy solutions, including a rooftop photovoltaic system and electric vehicle charging stations. Plumbing and fire protection systems ensure reliability, safety, and sustainability, supporting the facility’s mission of delivering critical emergency response services.
