Indianapolis Animal Care Services

KBSO Consulting provided specialized technology consulting services for the new Indianapolis Animal Care Services facility, a significant expansion that triples the size of the previous building. Our team led the design and coordination of the telecommunications cabling infrastructure and security systems, including approximately 120 new IP cameras, a new access control system, and 325 data drops. The solution enhances the safety of staff, visitors, and animals by monitoring critical areas with strategically placed IP cameras and securing sensitive zones through controlled access points. The system supports facility operations while maintaining a secure environment. We worked closely with the City of Indianapolis and IACS’s network team to ensure their needs were met, achieving a seamless integration with the IT network infrastructure. We are honored to have contributed our technology design expertise to this important capacity expansion as Indianapolis modernizes animal care services for future generations.
