Located at the intersection of Old Meridian and Main Street, Icon on Main anchors the entrance to downtown Carmel with a mix of residential, retail, and public space, including 266 apartments and 22 condominiums. KBSO Consulting provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology (MEPT) design to support the development’s long-term performance and pedestrian-focused experience. Efficient HVAC, ventilation, and plumbing systems enhance occupant comfort, while the electrical infrastructure delivers reliable distribution, individual metering, and site lighting for outdoor amenities. Integrated technology systems extend into the public plaza, where a performance stage and video wall create opportunities for activity and connection. As Icon on Main establishes a vibrant gateway to downtown Carmel, KBSO’s coordinated designs support a flexible, connected environment for both daily life and shared public experiences..
