Center for Sustainability

DePauw University’s Center for Sustainability combines post and beam construction with sustainable design. KBSO Consulting delivered integrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing solutions that enhance comfort and efficiency throughout the space. The building features radiant floor heating powered by solar thermal energy, with three collectors converting sunlight into stored heat for use on demand. New utility services and energy-conscious systems ensure reliable performance while supporting the university’s commitment to sustainability. KBSO is proud to contribute to a project that blends modern engineering with renewable energy to create an inviting, environmentally responsible environment for students and faculty.
