Austin Elementary School

KBSO Consulting provided mechanical and electrical design services for the addition and renovation of Austin Elementary School in Scott County, Indiana. The project included significant upgrades to core areas of the building to accommodate a growing preschool through 5th-grade student population. KBSO’s scope included replacing the boiler and chiller plant, installing new air handling systems, and integrating updated building controls for improved energy efficiency and occupant comfort. The electrical distribution system was enhanced to support the new addition and upgraded HVAC systems, with back-fed connections to existing branch panels. New lighting and a modernized front-end fire alarm system were also implemented. KBSO Consulting was proud to support this important transformation, helping Austin Elementary School better serve its students and staff for years to come.
