Central Green Park

Central Green Park is a public gathering space in downtown Elkhart, Indiana, designed to support community events, entertainment, and everyday recreation. KBSO Consulting provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology (MEPT) design services for the project, including the café building and supporting site infrastructure. The café building incorporated coordinated MEPT systems that support daily operations while serving as a central hub for park utilities and controls. Throughout the site, KBSO provided electrical and plumbing designs that support key amenities, including stage events, food truck service locations, public-use power connections, and site-wide audio systems. In close collaboration with the landscape architect, KBSO integrated lighting, utility infrastructure, and technology elements into the plaza design, creating a cohesive and functional environment. KBSO’s coordinated designs enhance the flexibility, usability, and long-term performance of Central Green Park, supporting Elkhart’s vision for an active and engaging downtown destination.
