Clearwater & Willow Lake Elementary Schools

Designed in tandem to meet the growing educational needs of the community, Clearwater Elementary School and Willow Lake Elementary School are two newly constructed facilities within the Metropolitan School District of Washington Township. KBSO Consulting provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and technology (MEPT) design services for both schools, incorporating energy-efficient systems such as LED lighting, smart controls, and high-efficiency heating and cooling. Each school’s plumbing system includes high-efficiency water heaters, water softeners, and a gravity-fed waste and storm drainage system, while sprinkler systems ensure fire protection. Reliable emergency power generators support essential systems during outages, and security features such as CCTV cameras and access control enhance safety at both facilities. The design maximizes natural light and flexibility, fostering collaboration and student engagement in welcoming, innovative learning environments. Close coordination throughout the design and construction process ensured that both schools deliver modern, adaptable spaces that meet the district’s evolving needs.
